David Nettles

Since the day my dad brought home my first go-kart to drive around our family farm, I’ve had a passion and maybe even an addiction to motorsports. It didn’t take long before my family had invested in my first racing kart, and I found myself turning laps at the famous Albemarle Speedway. Twenty plus years later I am a nine-time champion at Albemarle Speedway and a 2020 Virginia Dirt Karting Series Champion. Racing holds a special place in my life. From the moment I sat in that first go-kart seat on my family farm to now, I am truly blessed by the support of my loving family and friends. As a veteran now in the sport I enjoy mentoring the younger drivers who have that same spark and excitement I had when I first took the wheel.
